Differentiate organic food and clean food

Many people believe in clean food, but some trust in organic food. So what is the difference between clean food and organic  food?

According to experts, clean food is food obtained from farming sources, still using “inputs” as chemicals such as pesticides, synthetic chemicals … But the use of chemicals is done properly. The process of leaving products to market only has toxic residues below the permitted level, not harmful to consumers’ health. They are also called “safe” products.

In ASEAN countries, organic food concept is not new, but it is not yet widely known and people have not fully understood its meaning and its importance for their life and health. When asked: Being a wise mother, so do you know Organic food? ½ of them all shook their heads and mistakenly said: Oh, it’s just clean food.

However, that is not so. It is not from word of mouth or exaggerated words that are tested from reality by the hands and minds of food researchers.

Organic food is food including vegetables, fruits, cereals, meat, dairy products, eggs, honey … And organic food called Organic food must be collected from production sources. Do not use any chemicals.

Production of organic food requires implementation in a secure ecosystem, not near industrial plants, not near national highways, in the ground and water sources with metal residues and natural poisons. Water sources for irrigation and breeding must be from clean well water, not river water.

How organic food is labeled?

As a rule, products with Organic standards will be labeled “Certified Organic Foods” such as Organic formula, nutritious powder for Organic, meat, eggs, vegetables and Organic fruits.

This certificate is sticked on the product when and only if the product: does not contain hormones, does not contain herbicides, contains no chemical fertilizers, is not genetically modified, is not sterilized, has no aroma ,coloring products and preservatives. All Organic foods are subject to constant and rigorous control from the beginning to the end.

And foods that are labeled Organic must be controlled and tested by competent and reputable organizations in this field.

Process to make organic sugar

Sugar is one of the most commonly used spices. However, in front of the matrices of common names such as “sugar”, “common sugar”, “organic sugar” confused housewife. They do not know what to choose to ensure the good health of the family.

Unlike other organic foods, the process of producing organic sugars is different from conventional sugar. In particular, the whole process ensures there are no synthetic chemicals or artificial compounds or additives.

As a result, the most distinctive of organic and conventional sugar production processes can be seen. Specifically, the process normally produces higher purity refined sugar, up to 99.99% purity – indicating “clean”.
